MyMapHK is a comprehensive mobile map application designed to offer users convenient and on-the-go access to official maps and integrated geospatial information about public facilities in Hong Kong.

Key features of MyMapHK include:

<li>Ortho map of Hong Kong published by the Lands Department.</li>
<li>Offline digital topographic map iB20000 of Hong Kong published by the Lands Department.</li>
<li>Over 120 types of public facility data integrated from various government departments.</li>
<li>Different themes such as "Map of Hong Kong," "Hiking," "Old Hong Kong," "Election," and "Offline Map," tailored to cater to diverse user needs with categorical geospatial information and specific functions.</li>
<li>Point to Point Route Search.</li>
<li>Intelligent location search engine with speech-to-text feature.</li>
<li>Nearby Facilities function which identifies facilities within a 1 km buffer area of the user's current map viewing location.</li>
<li>Facility Display Short Key, enabling users to overlay a specific type of facility onto the map.</li>
<li>My Location function allowing users to view their approximate current location on the map.</li>
<li>Location Bookmark function enabling users to bookmark a location on the map for future reference.</li>
<li>Share Map function offering two sharing options: Share Map URL and Share Map Image for sharing the current map view with others.</li>
<li>Useful map tools such as measurement tools, magnifiers, etc.</li>

Note:

MyMapHK requires an internet connection, and users should be mindful of potential data transmission fees incurred for transmitting data through mobile devices. To prevent unexpected charges, disable data roaming in mobile phone settings when using MyMapHK. The application's estimated location may vary from the actual location depending on the device's GPS accuracy. MyMapHK also features automatic map rotation based on device magnetometer readings, with varying accuracy influenced by factors like magnetometer type and local magnetic fields. Please note that “MyMapHK” operates on Android version 4.4 or above.
